Love and Mawwage

We made it back home!

Luvy and I caught our flight back to Tennessee early Friday morning.  You all know how I told you that lizards were EVERYWHERE at Siesta Key??  Well, they were everywhere in Orlando too!

One decided to have a sleep over in our HOTEL ROOM!   Luvy found this little guy on the alarm clock.  We tried to catch him, but he could jump!  Needless to say.. I didn’t get much sleep that night.

We were up at 3:30am to catch our plane.  Friday both of us were walking zombies, but we didn’t have anything on the agenda except our friends Houston and Kristen’s wedding rehearsal.

It was so nice seeing friends that we haven’t seen in years since we live in Kentucky!

I got to see the Ashleys plus hang out with my sweet April!

Before Houston was whisked away by the real photographer, I snagged a pic of him and Luvy.  We also got to catch up with Randy Davis and Jeanne!  Plus, we got to catch up with Ashley’s (bottom left) husband, Jarrod (bottom right).

Here are some pics of the happy couple during the ceremony!

The pics are dark… I didn’t want to use the flash.  :)

I am so incredibly thankful that they had Luvy be a part of their big day and that we were able to celebrate with them.  I know that God has incredible things in store for them both!

We forgot to have someone snap a picture of us, so we had to settle on me taking on of us.

Not so bad…

After the wedding, we had to jet, because we had a 4.5 hour drive back to Kentucky!  I was so sad we didn’t get to go to the reception, but thankful for the time we did have with everyone.

Luvy and I have been exhausted today!  However, I was able to get to the grocery and do 3 loads of laundry.

It feels so good to be home, but I’m so not looking forward to going back to work!

How was everyone’s weekend??

Do you all love going to weddings??  I do!

***Oh… and I took a video of Luvy and April singing at the wedding.  I am putting it up on my facebook page.  Well, at least I’m going to TRY to put it on there.  :)***

We Made It!

We are here!

I have missed you guys.  I was only away for a day and I feel so out of the loop!  A million thanks to sweet Ashley for her guest post!

Luvy and I road tripped to TN yesterday.  We got to see Daddy for a little bit last night before heading out this morning.

This morning, we caught a plane from Knoxville to Florida.

It was a bit cool when we left Tennessee, but we were greeted by the sun and heat in Florida.  Ahhhhh…. I already feel more relaxed.  We had a bit of a drive to our desination, so we stopped right outside of the Orlando airport to eat at Sweet Tomatoes.

Luvy and I had never eaten there before, but it was really good.  I was impressed with the salad bar.

I got a big salad, plus gluten free veggie soup and a sweet potato!

Luvy got all kinds of goodies.  We got our bellies happy then hit the road again!

Once we started getting closer, I started getting excited.

Very excited.  Lol…

IMG 0838

I have no shame.  :)

We are now all checked into our little condo.  I could get used to having this as my scenery everyday.

We also have “friends” that live outside.  I do not like our friends.  If one runs across my foot or worse… cuddles up with me on my chair, I will scream.

These guys are EVERYWHERE!

However, I’ll take it.  After all, this is my view for the next few days!  We are off to my FAVORITE restaurant here.

Has anyone guessed where I am yet???  (Mom- don’t answer that… it isn’t fair!  :) )

Where is your favorite get-away spot?

Mini Vaca Part II

Okay so I had NO idea yesterday when we got home that our town had a main water break!!  We were (and still are) under a boil water advisory.  Luvy and I had NO idea.  We went on our merry way drinking the water and everything until I went to work this morning.  Whoops.  So far, neither of us got sick.  However, I will say that it is tough living without running water!!

Anywho.. enough of my whining and complaining.

About our trip…  Saturday late morning we arrived at Luvy’s parents’ house.  We just hung out all day with them.  Unfortunately, I had to work on some school stuff.  However, I still got some good time with them.  We had a great time cooking dinner together that night.  Mary Ann and I made roasted potatoes and a salad.  Meanwhile, Luvy and his daddy mastered the grill.  They grilled up some salmon and asparagus.

That night, we went over to see our friends Ben and April and their sweet kiddos, Rush and Lottie.  This was our first time meeting Lottie.

I fell in love instantly.

Ben and April are amazing parents.  I have a feeling that I will be picking April’s brain like crazy when we have kids!  (Be ready April!)

Rush loves Lottie so much!  He is so sweet to her.

Rush is such a sweet boy.  Luvy ready him a night time story.  :)  So sweet!

We had such a great time in Tennessee.  I hate that we don’t get to see our family and friends as much as we would like, but it makes weekends like this so much sweeter!

That my friends was our weekend!

Hope you all had a great Monday!
